Go Girl! Virtual SALT visit of local teams from three continents to the Cho Ngafor foundation in Cameroon

2021-06-02

The second virtual SALT visit as part of the Go Girl! project brought us to Cameroon on the 24th of May. The team from the Cho Ngafor foundation talked about how they are using activities around menstruation to open a dialogue on teenage pregnancies and promote girls’ education. The SALT visit led to personal exchanges about our own first conversations on menstruation, and to sharing advice about the SALT-CLC Process between facilitators from Africa, Asia and Europe. Immediate transfer took place as well: the Go Girl Ghana Team is seeking help from their peers in Cameroon on how to bring production of menstrual pads to villages in Ghana.

The next virtual SALT visit

On the 25th of June at noon (CET), the Go Girl Team in Ghana is opening their doors for us. To join the virtual SALT visit, contact marlou@the-constellation.org.
