Registration

The Constellation was created in December 2004 and formally registered on May 24th, 2005 as ‘association sans but lucratif’ (a non governmental organisation with no commercial purpose)  in Nivelles Belgium (registration number 873994942) . Its office is registered at 33 Avenue de l’Europe, 7330 Saint Ghislain – Belgium.

Governance

The charter of The Constellation is available here. The Constellation is governed through shared governance by 12 voting members representing all members of The Constellation. The executive Board of The Constellation consists of Dr. Luc Barrière-Constantin (chair), Dolores Rey-Novoa and Marlou de Rouw. They are assisted by a board committee of in total 8 members.

Independence

The Constellation operates independent of any religious group, political party or commercial organisation. 

Code of Conduct

SALT is our way of working and way of thinking. It also defines the way of behaving of members of The Constellation. Our code of conduct is available here.

Financial control and transparency

Our financial accounts are audited every year by an independent auditor.  The financial statements provide a global overview of the Constellation’s work. Our Annual report gives details of our activities and expenditure.

Creative Commons

The Constellation subscribes to the principle of Creative Commons. The Constellations SALT-CLCP methodology is a co-created process with input from members and partners of The Constellation since 2004.  People and organisations who use the SALT-CLCP methodology commit to contribute to the further development of the strength based learning process through active sharing of experiences and lessons learned on The Constellation platforms (www.aidscompetence.ning.com) and during learning events. The Constellation encourages local adaptation of the SALT-CLCP methodology under the condition that reference will be made to The Constellation as the source of the methodology.

Copyright

The term “Constellation Coach” is a copyrighted term and can only be used by persons who have gone through The Constellation accreditation process. The use of this term, without accreditation, will be considered fraudulent.
