“I am also a human, loved, and respected in my community” is the beautiful lesson shared by Agnes in a touching Learn Visit to her and her community on the 10th of November 2023. When she thought she was alone, living with albinism in a community in Uganda, Nantaba Nicole Phionah, a peer from Albinism Umbrella Uganda, reached out to her in 2021. Then, strengthened by the fact that she was no longer alone, she grew out to be a connector and a much loved and respected member of her community.
Eunice Musubika and Arthur Namara, SALTy Link and Learn facilitators, supported the exchanges during the visit. Other grantees and The Constellation members joined them via an online connection.
