GO GIRL!

We invite you to a virtual SALT visit to Go Girl Ghana

In 2015 Leonie Heppener brought a SALT visit to Kenya. She came in contact with the SALT-CLCP work in the village Kithutuni, where people with HIV/AIDS were the focus. This visit touched her so much that that’s where she decided that this approach would work well for the empowerment of girls in Ghana too. Go Girl Ghana was founded in 2017 and had its first SALT training in 2018. Jeanet, Emmanuel and Leonie from Go Girl Ghana will share with you the story of girls and how they work with them and their families to advocate for social change in equality and education. How they have applied SALT and how they work with communities today.

The Virtual SALT visit is part of the GO GIRL! project of The Constellation.

Old or new SALT-CLCP facilitators who are working with youth on issues related to gender equality, sexual health and teenage pregnancy (or who are planning to do so!) are all invited.
