Virtual SALT visit to Babes, Singapore. 

We are here to listen, provide emotional support and journey with pregnant teenagers in their time of crisis

Two years ago Wiwin (SALT-CLCP facilitator in Bandung, Indonesia) visited Singapore and joined in a ‘living room chat’ with pregnant teenagers and their mothers. She remembers it as “we were creating a conducive environment where we can discuss the most frightening”.  

The Virtual SALT visit is part of the GO GIRL project of The Constellation.

Old or new SALT-CLCP facilitators who are working with youth on issues related to sexual health and teenage pregnancy (or who are planning to do so!) are all invited. 

Santhiya from Babes will share with us how her organisation helps teenage mothers to (re-)connect to love, form support groups and is creating safety for mother and child in the context of Singapore society.

Support, Appreciate, Listen, Learn and Transfer will be our mindset during the visit.
